WELDING TECHNOLOGY

Over many years GERMANIA-WERK has collected a high standard of experience with different welding methods and welding objects with a broad range of material pairings.
We use resistance welding machines for spot welding (e.g. welding on of litz wires), projection welding (e.g. connecting parts) and contact welding (e.g. welding on or soldering on of precious metal contacts).

We process contact wires with diameters of 0.5 to 2.5 mm. Contact segments of lengths of up to 6 mm are welded on and molded into the form prescribed by the customer in a subsequent machining operation.

We also weld contact profiles with cross sectional measurements from 0.8 x 0.4 mm to 4.5 x 1.5 mm. Section lengths up to 6 mm are possible. Full metal, bimetal or trimetal electrical contacts can be welded on as contacts.

Furthermore, we can solder on longitudinal graphite fiber contacts (e.g. AgC4). It is also possible to process contacts with vertical graphite fiber structure.

The mounting of surface flush contacts is our specialty.
